Today is the day we leave for our cruise to Alaska. We'll drive to Seattle and sleepover at a hotel. Then rising early, eat and join the Coles, adding our suitcases to theirs and stowing our car in their garage early Saturday. Our ship The Zuiderdam leaves Vancouver B.C. harbor in the afternoon!
Mirage is packed with food, bowl kibble and carrots; bed and baby elephant. She is going to stay with her Nanny on the farm :)
As Dan dozes, I spread a blanket upon the floor and unpack all the items I have haphazardly thrown into my suitcase. One more opportunity to assemble small piles and make certain it is all there. I expected to take something out, instead I add a scarf.
Currently rain and 50 degrees are expected.
Yesterday I decided I needed a haircut and was sooo lucky to call my hairdresser and find an available spot at one.
Dan had persevered these last weeks to squeeze 12 days of smooth sailing into our life: thank You honey!
